A look at Christianity in Today's World

There is no doubt that Christianity has been around since forever .It is by far the largest religion in the world and it is my personal belief that it has effected the most lives.Of course what kind of Christian would i be if i didn't believe that!Anyways I happen to know that Christianity is a very holy religion that requires such from it's followers and i believe that God is very precise when it comes to expectations from his people.So I can't understand how it is that some so called Christians think that it is OK to water down the Word of God and to teach others that this is right.By now you should realize that i'm venting!Yes I am but this is not an attack on any one person or group of persons but just a general opinion of what I see Christianity evolving into. The bible is very precise on the requirements of the father to us.Let me shed some light on a few of them:
Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world:but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,that ye may prove what is that good,and acceptable ,and perfect,will of God.
Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore,brethren,by the mercies of God,that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice,holy,acceptable unto God,which is your reasonable service.
1 Peter 1:16
Because it is written be ye holy for I am holy

Now there are many more verses that can help to prove this point but  I figure you've got the idea.There are some "Christian leaders" that are teaching their congregation that it is acceptable to enjoy certain pleasures such as drinking,partying,smoking, masturbating and even gay marriage plus countless other activities that go against the Word of God.This is not right in the sight of God as the verse above says the we should not conform to the world but transformed(a new creature) through the renewing of our minds.Through these erroneous teachings ,young people grow up believing that this is right.I am not saying that all leaders are guilty of this nor am i saying that they are solely responsible if people do their own thing but it does contribute greatly to the downward spiral of the true values and standards of Christianity.
The worse thing is that everyone begins to justify their deeds by saying it is freedom and God gives us freedom to do what we want!I believe that this plain compromise. God gives us freedom but we are still obligated to obey his word  especially if we profess to be Christians.Consider this verse ;
Matthew 5:19
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

This is what awaits anyone not just leaders if they continue to mislead people into doing what is not right before Almighty God.
What we ought to be teaching is the pure undiluted truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and whoever does not want to take heed let them be.The judgement of God will be upon them for whatever decision they make.
We are need to realize that there is no grey area when it comes to Christianity and we cannot have it both ways.
We either choose the ways of God and reap eternal bliss or choose the devil's way and perish.The two are like oil and water,they just don't mix!
